Foire aux questions

K
L
Am I required to appoint an accredited tax representative?
Yes, if you are tax resident outside the European Economic Area, the sale price exceeds €150,000, and you have owned the property for less than thirty years. Before the deed of sale is signed, the notary must verify that an accredited tax representative has been appointed. If no representative has been appointed, the sale cannot be completed and the signing of the deed is blocked. It is therefore essential to arrange this appointment as soon as the preliminary sale agreement is signed.

No. We are an independent broker. We compare the accredited tax representatives approved by the French tax authorities and put you in touch with the one that best matches your situation.

How much does an accredited tax representative cost?
Fees generally range from 0.4% to 1% of the sale price. We compare several accredited tax representatives to ensure you benefit from the best value for money.
